Aegis Changes Name to Edgia
Dallas - April 8, 2002 - Aegis Learning Group, a Dallas-based e-learning company, announced today that it has changed its name to Edgia, 'The Knowledge Transfer Company', to better reflect its well-rounded solutions offering. Additionally, Edgia announced its new suite of knowledge transfer solutions.
Previously, the company completed an acquisition and merger of operations with NetCertification, Inc., the leading provider of training and testing in the association marketplace. While Edgia had been delivering e-learning solutions to a multitude of organizations, they realized a need in the marketplace for a total knowledge transfer solution. Thus, Edgia decided to address the growing needs of organizations that extend beyond traditional training and e-learning to complete knowledge transfer.
